Unlimited access can be unlocked with a personal upgrade to Tools Pro or our Tools school license for the entire teaching staff.

With the free license, all tools can be used free of charge. The following limits pertain to the number of instances you can create of each tool:

You can

  • create 2 web pages
  • share 2 files
  • create 3 word clouds
  • shorten 5 links
  • create 2 worksheets and 2 surveys
  • use 2 pin boards and 2 classroom screens
  • share 5 audio and 5 video recordings

This means that once you have created a tool, you can continue to use it indefinitely (unless you schedule a deletion time) and this applies to the free basic version as well. Only with the Tools Pro subscription or a tools school license you can continuously create new tools content without a limit. Once created, tools can be used beyond the end of a subscription or a school license.

The Remix option allows you to easily reuse existing content. By clicking Remix, you create a copy of someone else's content in your own account and can adapt it for your own lessons. Remixable tools are under a Creative Commons license and released as OER (Open Educational Resources).
All remixable content at fobizz is licensed under the Creative Commons CC-BY license. This license allows you to distribute, remix, enhance, and build upon a work, both for personal and commercial use, as long as the creator of the original is credited. This means that you can continue to use them in the spirit of OER (Open Educational Resources), but you have to name the author.
For helpful advice about legal details of different licenses, check out the OER Licensing Checklist by OER commons.
